October to March — Best Season (Peak Pilgrimage Period)

The winter months of December and January can be cold (5°C to 15°C), so carry warm clothing. April to June — Hot Season
Summers in Varanasi and Ayodhya are hot, with temperatures reaching 40°C to 45°C. While darshan is possible, the heat makes outdoor activities challenging. If you travel during this period, early morning and evening darshan times are recommended. Prices are generally lower during summer.
July to September — Monsoon Season
he monsoon brings heavy rainfall and humidity to Uttar Pradesh. While the ghats and rivers are full and beautiful, heavy rains can sometimes disrupt travel plans. The Ganga water level rises significantly. We generally recommend avoiding this period for a comfortable yatra experience.
